    Plutomaycontainasubsurfaceoceanwarmenoughtohostlife,accordingtoEnglishphysicistBrianCoxwhoalsosaidthathumanscouldbe
    theonlycomplexlifeinourgalaxy.
    CoxbelievesthetelltaleoozeofglaciersonPlutossurfacehintsatthepossibilityofasubterraneanseawarmenoughtohostorganic
    chemistry.
    NewHorizonsprobeshowedthattheremaybeasubsurfaceoceanonPlutowhichmeansifourunderstandingoflifeonEarthiseven
    slightlycorrectthatyoucouldhavelivingthingsthere,CoxtoldTheTimes
    TheNewHorizonsspacecraftcompletedathreebillionmilejourneyacrosstheSolarSystemandperformedaflybyofPlutoinJuly.
    ThespacecraftcaptureddetailedimagesandotherdataofPlutoandalsoofitsmoons:Charon,Styx,Nix,KerberosandHydra.
    ItisunlikelythatNewHorizonswouldbeabletotellforcertainwhetherwarmwaterexistsinthedwarfplanet.
    Coxsaidthatthemostimmediateprospectforfindingevidenceoflifewasonthemoonsofotherplanetsclosertohome.
    Itsnotasaccessible,unfortunately,asEuropa[asatelliteofJupiter]orsomeofSaturnsmoons.Titanlooksasthoughitsgotasubsurface
    oceannow,andEnceladusthrowsliquidintospace,soyoucanflythroughthatandseeifitsgotorganicsinit,hesaid.
