Jewish believers; the Churchs liturgical year and the celebration of Eucharist. They demonstrate
an understanding of the term communion of saints. They explain the significance of personal
and communal prayer, including the Our Father and The Examen, and the use of spiritual
exercises, including reflective prayer journaling and praying with the icons of the saints, for the
spiritual life of believers. They participate respectfully in a variety of these personal and
communal prayer experience and spiritual exercises.

Present students with symbols and colours of all
liturgical seasons.

symbols and colours.

Summative Assessment:
Students are to individually design a
visual representation for the liturgical
season- Ordinary Time. Students are
required to incorporate the use of
appropriate symbols and colours that
help individuals and groups make
meaning of the liturgical season and
write a justification for their choice of
colour and use of symbols in their
designs.

justify their representation to the class.
The visual representation and justification will
then be handed in for marking.
Students will then participate in a grand
conversation about what they have learnt
about Ordinary Time and how this season
impacts them and their Christian faith. For
example: How is Jesus evident in your life
during Ordinary Time?
