CONTROLS
Wear safety glasses & face shield, keep others away from
chipping operations.
Wear particulate dust mask.
Wear long sleeve shirt. Wash Skin as often as necessary. Wear
gloves.
Wear metatarsal foot protection.
Wear ear protection if noise is > 85 dB.
Ensure that all air hose connections are equipped
with whip checks or have connections wired in
place to prevent accidental disconnection
Check electrical hand tools and extension cords for damage.
Replace or repair as needed
Keep others away from chipping activities with exclusion zone.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:


Eye Protection
Dust Mask
metatarsal foot protection
Ear protection if noise is > 85 dB
