Our3experimentalvialschangedcolorandthecontrolsstayedthesame.Accordingtoourdata
table,thebenedictinsugar,iodineinstarchandbiuretsinproteinchangecolor,butThebenedictsinH2O,iodinenH2Oand
biuretsinH2Odidnotchangecolor.

8.CONCLUSION(2paragraphs):

Wehypothesizedthatifweuseindicatorstoshowthepresenceofbiologicalmolecule,thentherewillbecolorchangein
thevialswithegg,starch,syrupandnotinthecontrolsbecauseindicatorschangecolorwhentheyfindacertainchemical.Our
hypothesiswassupported!Theegg,starchandsyrupwiththeindicatorschangecolor,buttheegg,starchandsyrupinH2Odid
notchangecolor.Someoferrorsinoutlabswereaddingthemorethan4dropsofprotein,sowehadtostartover.Wealso
accidentallydroppedsomechemicalonthetable,andwipeditwithclothinsteadoftissuepaper.Wealsoheatedoneofour
experimentsfortoolongbecauseIdidnothearmypartnersaystopwhenthetimerstopped.Eventhoughwemadealotoferrors
inourexperiment,Ithinkthatourexperimentisconclusive.Iamveryconfidentinourresultsbecausewefollowedour
proceduresproperlyandwecollectedenoughdata.

Iinferthatthepatternexistbecauseindicatorschangecolorwhentheyfindacertainchemical,butthecontroldidnot
changebecauseweonlyaddedH2Ototheothervialswithegg,starchandsyrup.H2Odoesnotindicatechemicalbecauseits
justordinarywater.Ourfindingsarescientificallybecauseachangeincolorisalsoanothercharacteristicofachemicalreaction.
MypartnerandIwerealsowondering,sincewealreadyknowwhathappenswhenweheatupBenedictinsugar,iodineinstarch
andbiuretsinprotein,whatwillhappenwhenwecoolthemupinstead?Wewerewondering,whatelsecanwedotoexamineif
Proteins,SugarPolymersandSugarMonomershaveacertainchemicalinthem
