S- Sleep Well. Listen to your body and observe sleeping hours (7-8 hrs/day)
H- Hydrate. Water comprises most of our body (60-70%). We need to replenish it
regularly for normal body functions. Water holds many wonders when properly used.
Requirements may vary but average of 8-12 glasses a day is needed.
(Half of body weight x 30ml= average daily requirement)
A- Aerate. Oxygen in the air and blood is the prime necessity for human life. Make
sure you breathe clean air properly and avoid or minimize pollutants from affecting
your system.
P- Proper Diet. You are what you eat is an often neglected understatement. Meal
(1) components, (2) frequency, and (3) portions should be properly observed for
maximum health benefits.
E-Exercise. Regular physical exercise keeps the bodys functions going and ready
for emergencies. Activities that regulate cardio-pulmonary functions must be
observed regularly.
U- Undo! a. Unclog- think of cloggers in your arteries, skin and schedule.
b. Unclutter- take care of and dispose clutter and trash
c. Unwind- take time to de-stress and relax
P- Periodic Physical/ Medical Check-ups. For early detection of possible medical
conditions, we need to listen and pay attention (pain, appetite, disposal, sleep) to
our bodies and check with our doctors and dentists regularly.
