Bachelor's Degree in Social sciences, Community Development or any related course

Minimum of three years work experience in community development or humanitarian aid

Has relevant training and experience on the use of SPHERE standards and the Red
Cross/Ngo Code of Conduct

Has ability to build relationships and work with stakeholders on multiple levels including fellow
NGOs and local government units

Has relevant experience in project design, planning, proposal writing and project reporting
Has ability to develop and implement solutions independently
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills

The Municipal Coordinator will ensure that the projects and programs are implemented by the
community development facilitators and project officers assigned at the municipalities and
barangays. He/she is responsible for the quality and effectiveness of Plans emergency response
within his/her assigned geographic area.
The responsibilities of this role incudes:

Organization and coordination of all Plan activities and staff in their assigned municipality

Mobilize communities and conduct participatory processes to assess situations within

communities

Ensure close coordination with district authorities and community members

Ensure that administrative support functions are established and maintained in accordance
with the organizations administrative policies and procedures.
