FIRST Lego League Core Values and the Midcoast Mindstormers

The FLL Core Values are the cornerstones of the FLL program. They are among the fundamental elements that
distinguish FLL from other programs of its kind. By embracing the Core Values, participants learn that friendly
competition and mutual gain are not separate goals, and that helping one another is the foundation of teamwork.

Midcoast Mindstormers Value Sticker Real-Time Recognition (RTR) Program

Kids on the team should be given a sticker when they exemplify a sample of the specified behavior. A coach may also
choose to bestow a #1, #7 or #8 badge for kids who point out a team members positive behavior, if that contribution
would otherwise have been missed (in which case both kids get stickers). 3 stickers in any combination results in a pick
from the prize bag. 4 stickers within one value category results in an iron-on patch badge sticker for their Tshirt.
TEAM WORK
TEAM! We are a team.

1.

LEARN IT, DO IT! We do the work to find solutions with guidance from our coaches and mentors.

2.
LEARN AS A TEAM! We know our coaches and mentors don't have all the answers; we learn
together.
These stickers are available in MUCH BETTER QUALITY (not all
resized/jumbled) on a separate document. Contact the Midcoast
Mindstormers through Facebook if you cant find it.

That separate document is formatted for Avery 1 Round Multi-Use

Labels #5410 (12 per 4x6 sheet).
Once youve issued a sticker, record the childs name or initials next to
empty space on the sticker sheet to work toward prizes/badges (or
track some other way). Children can also be encouraged to put their
stickers on their FLL Team folder.
Effort was made to use only clipart that appeared through a public
domain clipart search. This work is free for use with attribution
