1. Do you think theres gender equality for students and staff at this
sixth form? Can you give some examples?

code - is there a dress code implemented at this sixth form?
3. Why/ why not? (is there a dress code)
4. Do you have a dress code or dress guidelines for teachers? Does it
differ for gender?
5. Do you think a dress code can impact on someones education?
6. Do you think dress codes target females rather than all genders?
Why?
7. At some schools, girls are told to go home and change for wearing
clothes such as tank top because their shoulders are on display.
Some teachers have even given the reason for it being that it
distracts the boys. Do you think this is wrong?
8. Have you ever experienced at this college having to send students
home because their clothing was considered inappropriate. (What
gender were they?)
9. However, students at this sixth form can live over an hour away,
meaning they wont be able to attend lessons which will affect their
education. Do you think this defeats the purpose of the sixth form?
10.
Do you think that not having a dress code can improve body
confidence by allowing students to wear what they would like?
11.
When you were at school, did you have a dress code? Did you
like having one? Do you think it impacted your learning?
12.
Do you think some teachers across the country are still
thinking about dress code that applies to older society, rather than
the newer generations?
13.
Would you consider yourself one of these teachers?
Its not pleasant for male members of staff and students either, the girls have to
walk up stairs and sit down and its a complete distraction.
