To Whom It May Concern:

It is with great pleasure that I write a recommendation letter for Ruksat Asaduzzaman for a teaching
position. I worked closely with Ruksat during her final practicum in our Grade 6 SciTech Regional
program at Centennial Senior Public School. Ruksat came to class prepared, with engaging hands-on
lessons that had a strong focus on topics of interest to students. She created a classroom environment
that was safe for students to take risks and express their thoughts and opinions freely. With respect to
classroom management, Ruksat developed strategies that work for her in order to create a consistent and
successful environment for students.

During lessons, Ruksat spoke with a clear, audible voice and took into consideration students
demographics and learning needs and adjusted her vocabulary accordingly. She encouraged students to
ask questions, make connections, problem solve and engage in proper group work discussions. Ruksat
used a variety of instructional and 21st century teaching strategies throughout her lessons and would
reflect on her lessons afterwards.

Ruksat demonstrates professionalism and a commitment towards the teaching profession. She actively
engaged in extra-curricular groups and sought out opportunities to learn from colleagues. She ensured all
lessons were differentiated to meet student needs, and provided clear expectations and instructions to
students. Throughout her practicum, Ruksat used a variety of assessment methods to ensure a
triangulation of data was collected. Students were given clear, descriptive feedback of successes and
areas for improvement.

Ruksat is a respectful, considerate and extremely hard working teacher whom I would recommend for
a teaching position within your board.
