Interfaith Music Festival

Universalist Association of Congregations. She is currently a Director of


the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Larger Fellowship and a Trustee
of the World Conference on Religion & Peace.
The Denver Spirituals Project is a broad-based initiative, housed at the
University of Colorado at Denver, to explore the many, varied
dimensions of African-American spirituals as art form, tradition, and
tool. One prominent part of the Project is their 75-voice community
choir, directed by Arlen Herschberger.

Diane Gronseth is a singer at the Church of Scientology. She is a


mother of six, business owner, and health enthusiast. She uses
Scientology technology to improve conditions in her life, the lives of her
children and family, her businesses, and her fellow manand she
LOVES to sing!
Spirit of Life Singers are a service group that have been singing and
performing for Cameron Methodist Church for the past 10 years.
Although the singers change over the years, the spirit of service and
celebration are what drive this group and the music they perform.
Lynne Tucker, Ray Hillman, Julia Gregson, Mary Stresick,
Dan Stresick, Steve Benson, Paul Wren, Nell Davis, Gary
Carter, Natalie Kirton
Rabbi Nadya Gross was trained in Hazzanut (Cantorial Arts) in
Southern California, where she served as Cantor of a Conservative
Synagogue before her ordination as Rabbi in the Jewish Renewal
movement. Rabbi Nadya Gross and her husband, Rabbi Victor Gross,
currently lead Congregation Pardes Levavot, which shares its space with
the Shepard of the Hills Lutheran Church in Boulder.
Mudra Dance Studio is directed by Namita Khana, who previously
worked for Up With People and the Cleo Parker International Summer
Institute. The Studio is a Non-Profit association of individuals interested
in and devoted to the promotion and development of Classical, Folk, and
Contemporary Dances and other Performing Arts of Hindu and India.

The Reverend Charles Mowry is the President of the Interfaith Alliance


of Colorado.

Denise T. Davidoff is the Chair of the Interfaith Alliance Foundation,


and past Moderator and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Unitarian

About the Participants


The Reverend Keith Arnold is the Minister of Music at Jefferson
Unitarian Church and director of the Arvada Chorale. He has been the
Artistic Director of the Interfaith Music Festival the past 5 years.
The Reverend Patty Allread is the Director of Public Affairs for the
Church of Scientology of Colorado. She also serves on the Board of
Directors of The Interfaith Alliance of Colorado and is coordinator for
the Sacred Celebration Interfaith Music Festival.
Imam Ibrahim Kazerooni functions as Imam for the Muslim
community of Denver. He is a board member for several local municipal
agencies, and has been appointed as Muslim cleric to the staff of St.
Johns Episcopal Cathedral. He serves at the cathedral as the Director of
the Abrahamic Initiative.
The Two Spirits Society is the Native American organization for the
American Indian G.L.B.T. community. They reaffirm their place in their
traditional circle, which predated the European presence.

The UUMN Choir, directed by Timothy Snyder and accompanied by
Caitlin Sugishita, is composed of members of the Unitarian Universalist
Musicians Network, who have gathered this week in Denver for their
annual conference, and who represent Unitarian Universalist
congregations throughout the United States and Canada.
Yallah! is a sacred world fusion band, where East meets West in spiritual
harmony. Yallah is the combination of the Jewish and Muslim names of
God, Yah and Allah. Yallah! is based in Boulder, Colorado.
