REFLECTION
Overall I feel this lesson went really well. At the beginning some students did not want to participate in
the lesson, but after speaking to them I was able to get them to join in and enjoy the lesson. All of the
students were engaged throughout the lesson. It was interesting to watch how they worked in their group
and the ideas the groups came up with. The students answered their reflection questions appropriately
with detailed answers. I felt I spoke clearly and confidently which was reflected by the students in how
they worked and were engaged in the lesson. Improvements that can be made next time is to put the
originals lesson instructions on a sheet of paper instead of outlining them at the beginning of the lesson,
this gives the students some to refer back to instead of continuously asking a lot of questions. I feel that I
reached the lesson outcomes well and the lesson reflected the learning in the Australian curriculum well.
