EFFECT OF PLANT GROWTH-PROMOTING RHIZOBACTERIA (PGPR) AND RHIZOBIUM


ON LEGUME AND NON-LEGUME

INTRODUCTION
Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and rhizobium has been shown to
stimulate plant growth through several mechanisms.

METHODOLOGY
4 treatments x 2 replicates x 2 crops x 2 sets = 32 e.u.
TREATMENTS:
i.

Without inoculum (control)

ii.

With inoculum (PGPR)

iii.

With inoculum (R)

iv.

With inoculum (PGPR+R)

# Prepare 2 sets of experiment (lime & no lime)


# Planting 10 seeds/ pot (thinning until 5 plants/pot)
# Apply chemical fertilizer (NPK blue) based on treatment
# Apply inoculum (1 mL/ seed)

Rhizobium: UPMR30

OBSERVATION

Paddy: 3 - 4 weeks
Mungbean: 4 5 weeks
