The Giver- Thematic Analysis

Create a visual that displays the following information from The Giver

Choose a theme from the novel and make it the focus of your visual. Suggestionwrite it in dark/large font.
Find seven quotes from the novel that support your chosen theme. These also must
show the themes progression over the course of the plot. Must include page
numbers!
Find one quote that shows how setting plays a direct role in the theme. Briefly
explain the relationship (1-2 sentences).
Draw a visual of a character that played a major role in the development of the
theme. In no more than 3-4 sentences, explain the characters direct relationship to
the theme.
Find at least ten examples of diction that pertain to your chosen theme and display
them on your visual. Make sure you write the page number beside each word/phrase
you choose.
Apply theme to a real-world situation. Think: How is does your chosen theme apply
to an event happening in the world? Explain in, no more than, seven sentences.
Make sure your visual is legible, neat, colorful, grammatically correct, and done with
your best effort. This will count as a formal assignment (65%).

10 points- Correct theme
