CUSTOM ANIMATION
It is a set of effects which can be applied to objects in
powerpoint so that they will animate in the slide show.
They can be added under the custom animation function
or through the use of visual basic for applications (VBA)
Powre point 2000 and earlier version introduced basic
effects such as Appear, Dissolve, Fly and so worth.
In power point 2002/XP and later versions adding new
effects, grouped into four categories.
Entrance
Emphasis
Exit
Motion paths
Which contains only few sentences, and adding
multimedia effects such as animations, video and
sound effects to the slides.

 Entrance effects can be set to object, they enter

with animations during slide show .
Emphasis effects animation the objects on the
spot.
Exit effect allow objects to leave the slide show
with animations.
Motion paths allow objects to move around the
slide show.
Each effect contain variables such as start, delay,
speed, repeat and trigger.
This makes animation more flexible and interactive.

To add custom animation follow the steps given

below
Select the text or graphics.
Right click text or graphics and select custom
animation from the slide show menu. This
displays the custom animation dialogue box.
Select the animation, there are entrances, exits,
emphasis and paths.
Specify whether you want your animation to start
on mouse click, After previous, or with
previous.

IMPORTANCE
A presentation can be made interactive and
interesting by adding multimedia effects.
Which help in capturing audience attention as
multimedia content can often communicate more
information than a slide
This effect are added to grab the audience attention
as well as to reinforce some important point that
needs to be highlighted.
