    JUST 405 Writing Assignment Grading Rubric

    Your writing assignment(s) will be graded based on the following:


    Format Do you follow the format? 1 page, 1.5 line spacing. Appropriate margins, paragraph
    breaks, etc. Paper should be easy to read and not intimidating to the reader.
    Supporting bullets Are they relevant? Are they based in fact? Are they referenced/have citations?
    Intro and Conclusion Does the intro set the stage for what the reader should expect to read? Does
    the conclusion appropriately pull in and summarize the important points.
    Writing and Grammar Are there spelling and grammatical errors? Are sentences well formed? Is
    the writing too wordy?
