students will have to

find it in their paper,
they will need to be
able to categorize
their citations into two
groups, one that is

other one which is
not, they will then
have to apply what
they learned by
sorting out their
citations and
analyzing how many
were cited correctly
and how many were

evaluated by the
teacher to see if they
correctly identified
and fixed the
incorrect citations.

Reflection
In my matrix I tried to make it about learning about fair use and copyright, as well as, just incorporating it into the
everyday activities the students would be doing. I tried to mix it up so they learn about fair use and copyright and
then they apply it so they can see and understand how to properly do it and the actions that could follow if you dont
use fair use or copyrights correctly. I felt like I used remember and understand a lot but I think that is the core of the
knowledge being presented if you remember what was taught about fair use and copyright and understand how to
use it then you will be good to go, it is something that needs to be understood and remembered at all times, so I
tried to make that a point in my matrix that remembering and understanding was very important to this concept.
For the differentiation I tried to adapt it to create situations that would be helpful to the students involved and not
just an extra activity they had to do, I tried to adapt it and create realistic expectations that would produce quality
learning experience for those different types of children. I do realize this would take more time on my part or on
another helping professionals part but I do think it is important for those students to have those experiences and I
also think any of the activities presented in the matrix could be adapted to any kind of student, so everyone gets
something out of the learning objectives.
