Paige Likens- Brought Posters
Ryan Ivey from Boy Scouts of America- They will be hosting Chattanooga
Corporate Dodgeball Tournament and an opportunity to play with underprivileged children. It will be $300 a team and winning team gets $1000 and
brought flyers to give to chapters. It is held on December 5th on Saturday
morning.
Jason Morris from Greek Impact- The next monthly meeting will be next
Wednesday night at 8 in Derthrick Hall on the first floor.
Ericka Hill with Center for College and Student Success- They are trying to
start a Greek Night where Greek students will come and tutor other students.
Monday or Wednesday is going to be the night of the events and wear letters
and represent your organization. She is the new library in Suite 335 if you
want more information. If you have made an A or a B in a course then you
can come.
Cassie with Womens Center- She wants to thank IFC for their participation
with the Womens Center Take Back the Night events throughout last week.
They want to make it an annual event so they will have it next year. The
banner that everyone signed is hanging over The Pit. The tie breaker was

determined from the quiz before the High Heel Relay Race. Second place is
Kappa Sigma and First Place is Sigma Chi with all of the events.
Geoffrey Wilcox with UTC Athletics- Any way students want to get involved in
athletic events should be brought to him because he is open about anything.
A game sponsorship is first come, first serve and there will be a table that
you can recruit with and have guys on the field and off the field for
recognition on things that have been achieved. They have already had
organizations participating. Volleyball is this Friday and Saturday and their
15-2 record is the best start in program history. November 30th the UCONN
Huskies will be here to play our womens basketball team with two Hall of
Fame coaches playing against each other.
Advisor Report: Aubrey- Gentlemens Institute Applications will be going
out next week. Make sure that everyone in your Org Sync portal is accurate
and make sure that people in your fraternity are in there if they are not.
Grade releases have to have a form filled out with all members filling this
information out through Org Sync. Last New Member 102 is tonight in the UC
Auditorium at 8. Student Veterans Organization is having a 5K. CAB Week is
April 4th-8th so nothing will be scheduled through those days regarding IFC.
Officer Reports:
-VP of Records (Tyler Pelot): Make sure you look at the updated website.
-VP of Finance (Kyle Hixson): None
-VP of Judicial Affairs (Austin Wilson):
-President (Caleb Davis): Voting for the new process today. Encourage people
in your chapter to reach out for elections for IFC.
Chair Reports:
-Community Service Chair- Thank you for everyone that participated in the
event for the Womens Center.
-Homecoming: Packet for Homecoming is on Org Sync if you have any
questions regarding length of time, songs, etc. Please direct all questions to
this packet. There will be NO flips or stunting for Lip Sync or Step Show. All
music and voice over has to be on a disc by this Friday or you will not be able
to participate.
-Intramurals: None
Old Business: None

New Business: The new election process is shown on the sheet in front of
chapters and can be further detailed by Caleb Davis or Austin Wilson. There
was a motion to vote and a second so we moved into the voting process. IFC
Election Applications are due October 21st at 11:59. The votes are seen on
the attendance given above (for) or (against). Trent Roddinger was
nominated by a Pike brother for Intramural Chair along with Taylor Parker last
week. We did Pro-Con-Pro for the two nominees. Trent Roddinger won a 5 to 2
vote against Taylor Parker and will be the new Intramural Chair.
Chapter Reports:
-Delta Upsilon: Successful Big and Little ceremony this weekend and they
participated in many sorority weeks. They will be having a golf tournament
for their philanthropy week.
-Kappa Alpha Order: Had a great time at Take Back the Night; had a mixer
with ADPi last week; initation is coming up soon and they are excited for
homecoming; also had an alumni tailgate this past weekend. Lastly, during
Homecoming we will team up with Student Health Services and blood
assurance on October 26th through the 27th
-Phi Delta Theta: Sexual Awareness Seminar coming up and having
philanthropy week; won War of the Wings.
-Pi Kappa Alpha: Harrison Warren will be speaking at 8 on Drinking and
Driving and ready for Lip Sync.
-Sigma Chi: Recognized for Day of Service by Nationals; have workshops
coming up; and have a
-Kappa Sigma: 100 % ritual proficient and helped take down event on
Amnicola and participating in Fortwood Clean Up
-Sigma Beta Rho: None
-Sigma Nu: Had big Brother Reveal and have an event with Susan G. Koman
and tabling Wednesday through Friday
