Gareth Elliott, Governor Browns Legislative Affairs Secretary Joins the

Sacramento Advocates, Inc. lobbying firm.

Barry Brokaw and Donne Brownsey of Sacramento Advocates, Inc., are pleased to
announce the addition of new partner Gareth Elliott.
Mr. Elliott has served as the Legislative Affairs Secretary for Governor Brown for
the past four years. He has extensive previous experience at the State Capitol,
including serving as Policy Director and Deputy Chief of Staff to the former
Senate leader, President Pro Tempore Don Perata, and as Legislative Director for
Senator and now Secretary of State-elect Alex Padilla.
Mr. Elliott, who just last week was named to the prestigious University of
California Board of Regents by the Governor, will join the lobbying practice at
Sacramento Advocates, Inc., founded in 1990, whose clients have long included
some of the Nations largest and most widely recognized businesses, trade
associations and non-profit entities, along with a leading California Indian Tribe.
Mr. Elliot will also work closely with Cassie Gilson of Gilson Government
Strategies, a strategic partner of Sacramento Advocates.
