SCHOOL DISTRICT AND COMMUNITY
Clements High School is one of eleven high schools in the Fort Bend Independent
School District. Opened in 1983, Clements is located adjacent to southwest Houston
and serves portions of the city of Sugar Land. Sugar Land has grown significantly in
the last thirty years to become a major suburban area with an ethnically diverse
population primarily engaged in professional occupations.

SCHEDULE: Classes meet 50 minutes per day, maximum 7 periods per day, 5 days each
week, 36 weeks per year

CURRICULUM:

Clements is the home of the Global Studies Academy, which provides a focused
curriculum to prepare students for a growing global economy.
Over 30 Advanced Placement courses are available in English, Calculus, Statistics,
Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Studio Art, U.S. History, Psychology, Government,
Economics, Human Geography, Computer Science, and World Language.
The honors program offers courses in English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Foreign
Languages, and Music.
