Jack Nicklaus asked us to
outline all the golf course
staking details, the centerline,
the tee, the green and turning
points for the first 9 holes. At
this time we are working on
this for his upcoming in mid

final design of the golf course.

Dear All,
Since I am back in Panama, I enjoy going
to Viveros. It is always a new experience
with so many things to discover. The
houses already delivered or in progress
are beautiful and I cannot wait to see the
landscaping for each property. We
encourage owners to plant trees; it is of
course better for the nature and helps to
get more shadow. Possibilities to make
nice private parks are exceptional;
remember the construction footprint is
only 15% of the lot’s surface.

Desde mi regreso a Panamá, he estado disfrutando de los
viajes a Viveros. Siempre hay una nueva experiencia con
muchas cosas que descubrir. Las casas que ya hemos
entregado o están en construcción son bellísimas y no puedo
esperar para ver como se plantaran los nuevos jardines de
cada propiedad. Nosotros estamos alentando a los dueños a
que siembren árboles ya que estos jugaran un papel
primordial en la manutención del medio ambiente natural en
la isla a parte que les darán sombra a todos. Hay muchas
oportunidades para que usted pueda diseñar su propio
parque privado, ya que el área total de construcción sólo
puede cubrir hasta el 15 por ciento de su propiedad.

Exploring Panama By Boat | Explorando Panamá Por Agua
The news that construction has started on the
Marina at Isla Viveros is a heads up news for those
yachting folks planning to moor in the island
paradise, well outside of the hurricane zone.
From the only Marina in the area you will be able to
enjoy the rest of the archipelago, go whale watching
or sport fishing, before moving on to explore the
wonders of the Panamanian isthmus from two
oceans, the Pacific and the Atlantic.
La noticia que la construcción de la marina en Isla
Viveros ya empezó es muy importante para
aquellas personas que están planeando amarrar
sus yates en esta isla paradisíaca, localizada fuera
de la zona de huracanes.
Desde aquí, la única marina en el área, usted
podrá disfrutar el resto del archipiélago y podrá
observar ballenas o irse de pesca, antes de seguir
explorando las maravillas del istmo panameño con
sus dos océanos, el Pacífico y el Atlántico.

If you plan to
pass through the
Canal, an experience in itself, your first stop will be
Panama. The Flamenco Yacht Club lies at the
seaward end of the famed five kilometre Causeway,
which joins three islands on its route to the city.
The Club provides service to small, medium and
large yachts. Facilities, in addition to an extensive
secured dock, include a clubhouse, dry dock and a
marine travel-lift service.
The clubhouse hosts a nautical equipment store, a
chart room and a restaurant.
The marina has an 8,000 square meter area for
minor repair and cleaning work on boats. The”travel-
lift” can haul yachts up to 150 tons and measuring
100 feet. The docks have permanent water with the
draft from a minimum of 7 feet to a maximum of 23
feet at low tide, which allows access to yachts as big
as 250 feet.
The area is replete with restaurants and social
facilities, popular with locals and visitors alike.
Shelter Bay Marina
Through the canal, Shelter Bay Marina sits in
an unspoiled natural setting with easy access to
Colon and the world’s second biggest Free Trade
Zone. The Marina has slips for vessels up to 245 feet,
in an "all weather" protected bay.
Panamarina
A half day sail away, Panamarina
is in the national park of
Portobelo. The area is full of
historical gems including the Spanish fortress at
Portobelo and the custom house through which the
treasures of the Spanish empire were transported to
Spain if they could elude the British buccaneers like
Sir Francis Drake, who was buried in the waters near
Portobelo and Henry Morgan who ravaged the
original Panama City.
The anchorage caters for 28 monohulls and 9
multihulls.
To respect and protect sea life, each sailboat is
moored on 3 or 4 steel screws of with only the
anchoring eye above sea bed.
Another half day sail away are the San Blas Islands,
one for every day of the year, and home to the Kuna
Indians.
No cruise of Panamanian waters is complete without
a visit to Bocas Del Toro which has two marinas.
Careening Cay Marina
Is in the cove on
Careening Cay
(Isla Carenero), a secure 200 meters distance from
the town of Bocas. The site is cooled by abundant
sea breezes and protected through virtually 360
degrees by the surrounding islands
The Bocas Yacht Club
At latitude 09° 20' 10" north by
longitude 082° 14' 50'' west is in
a well protected, secluded bay
with uncluttered beaches. This
little gem of an archipelago
abounds with deserted
anchorages, coral reefs, solitary
beaches and more. There are
mangrove forests that can be explored by dinghy
and out of the way eco – resorts. There are towns
and villages for a look at the local life style which is
a mix of Caribbean, Central American Spanish and
Mestizo cultures.

Si planea atravesar el Canal, que de por sí es una
experiencia, su primera escala será en Panamá. El
Club de Yates Flamenco está en al final del
famoso Causeway de Amador, el cual mide cinco
kilómetros y une a tres islas en su ruta hacia la
ciudad.
El club da servicios a pequeños, medianos y
grandes yates. Facilidades, incluyen, además de
su extenso muelle, un casa club, un dique seco y
servicio marítimo de transporte.
La casa club tiene un almacén de equipo náutico,
una sala de mapas para trazar rutas y un
restaurante.
La marina tiene un área de 8,000 metros
cuadrados para realizar reparaciones menores y
limpieza de naves. Una grúa puede levantar yates
de hasta 150 toneladas y que midan hasta 100
pies. Los atracaderos siempre tienen agua con
una profundidad mínima de siete pies que llega
hasta un máximo de 23 pies cuando la marea está
baja para permitir un mayor acceso a los grandes
yates de 250 pies.
El área está repleta de restaurantes y otros
establecimientos, que son populares con locales y
visitantes.
Marina Shelter Bay
Una vez que
atraviese el
canal, Marina
Shelter Bay se
encuentra en
un sitio de gran belleza natural con fácil acceso a
Colón y la segunda zona libre del más grande del
mundo. La Marina tiene atracaderos para naves de
hasta 245 pies, en una bahía protegida, no
importa cuales sean las condiciones atmosféricas.
Panamarina
Está ubicada a medio día de navegación en el
Parque Nacional de Portobelo. El área está replete
de joyas históricas incluyendo un fuerte español
en Portobelo y la casa de aduanas, por la que
pasaron los tesoros del imperio español para ser
transportados a España, si es que lograban
esquivar a los corsarios británicos como Sir
Francis Drake, quien está enterrado en las aguas
cerca de Portobelo y Henry Morgan, destructor de
la primera ciudad de Panamá.
El puerto tiene capacidad para 28 monocascos y 9
multicascos.
Para respetar y proteger la vida marina, cada nave
es amarrada en tres o cuatro tornillos de acero
que son el único anclaje arriba del fondo del mar.
Otro medio día de navegación lo llevará a las 365
Islas de San Blas, una para cada día del año y
hogar de los indios Kuna.
Sin embargo, un crucero por las aguas panameñas
no estaría completo sin una visita a Bocas del Toro
y sus dos marinas.
Marina Isla Carenero
Ubicada en la Ensenada de Isla Carenero, a unos
200 metros de distancia del poblado de Bocas del
Toro, el lugar es refrescado por las abundantes
brisas marinas y protegido virtualmente 360
grados, gracias a las islas que lo rodean.
Club de Yates de Bocas
En la latitud 09° 20' 10" norte por la longitud
082° 14' 50'' oeste está en una bien protegida y
aislada bahía con hermosas playas. Esta es una
pequeña gema en un archipiélago donde abundan
lugares desiertos donde desembarcar, arrecifes de
coral, playas solitarias y mucho más. Hay bosques
de manglares que pueden ser explorados por
botes y eco-hoteles que están fuera del camino
acostumbrado.

The marina takes craft up to 100 ft., and concrete
floating docks provide stable platforms with
aluminium ramps connecting the slips to the land.
There are complete repair and cleaning services.
A new Marina is under construction in the Pacific
province of Chiriquí. The first phase is should be
completed early next year.

Puede encontrar poblados y villas para darle una
mirada al estilo de vida local que es una mezcla
de las culturas caribeña, latinoamericana y
mestiza.
La marina puede acomodar naves de hasta 100
pies y tiene muelles de concreto flotante que dan
estabilidad a plataformas con rampas de aluminio
que lo conectan con tierra firme. Allí encontrará
servicios de reparación y de limpieza.
Una nueva marina está en construcción en la
provincia de Chiriquí en el Pacífico. La primera
fase debe estar terminada a principios del
próximo año.
