    Variations
    Ourgroupinterpretedthisroutineinacoupleofdifferentways,andthoughtitcouldbeadapted
    eitherwaydependingontheagegroupand/orimagebeingpresented
    1. Theimageiszoomedin,andeachnewimageisasifacameraispanningoutward.In
    thisway,thenewimagewouldcontainthedetailsofthepreviousimage,butwith
    additionaldetail,untilthewholeisrevealed.
    2. Apartoftheimageisrevealedwiththequestionsasked.Eachconsecutiverevealhasa
    differentpartoftheimagealltogether.Inthisway,theimagesdontnecessarilycontain
    anyofthesameinformationasthepreviousimage,butattheend,thefinalimageis
    revealed.

    Steps
    1. Displayasectionofanimageandinvitestudentstolookcloselyatwhatisinfrontof
    them.
    2. Invitethestudentstodevelophypothesesorinterpretationsofwhattheyareseeing
    a. givingevidenceforwhythestudentsthinkthisway
    3. Uncoveranotherpartoftheimage,takingawaythefirstimage,andinvitestudentsto
    lookcloselyattheimage.

    4. Havestudentscomeupwithahypothesisorinterpretationforthisimage
    a. Giveevidenceforwhythestudentsthinkthisway
    5. Askstudenttocomparetheimages
    6. Repeatthesestepsuntilyouhavereachedthedesiredamountofimagesshown
    7. Discussthethinkingprocesswiththestudents
    a. askstudentstoreflectonhowtheirhypothesesandinterpretationschangedas
    otherimageswererevealed.
