What will the students be learning?
What are the big concepts for the lesson?
How will students know the objectives for the lesson? [Daily Objective]
How will students know the purpose and relevance of the lesson?
What resources/technology will help students make connections to previous learning? [Daily Review]
How will students receive feedback for their review?
How will students build their current knowledge?

How will the lesson be introduced? [Introduction]

The student will learn subjects like language arts, mathematics, health, and science using technology. They we learn these subject by using tablets, electronic
whiteboards, and use computers to play interactive games.
Daily objective: Students will be able to use technology to excel in their subjects
Students will make connections to previous learning by recalling what theyve learned into the activities.
Students will build their current knowledge by working with technologies that will expand their knowledge in subjects like language art, mathematics, health, and
science.
The lesson for the day will include the subjects: language arts, mathematics, health, and science going in that order. Students will be using the electronic
whiteboard to learn about poems and involve themselves in the discussion that the teacher presents. They will use the interactive games on the site abcmouse to

expand their learning on language arts and math to further their understanding on the topic. They will read different books on the site and explore different games
that will help them become interested on the subject. They will watch educational videos on the computer to learn the importance of hygiene. Lastly students will
use there tablets to record drawings of the plants they see outside.

Standard 2: Learning Tasks and Cognitive Demands

How are students supported in achieving the learning goals?
What Depth of Knowledge levels will students experience in the learning tasks?
How will students be supported to experience deeper learning? Address any SPED, Gifted or ELL students [Concept and Skill
Development and Application]
How will students be challenged to advance their thinking and skills? [Concept and Skill Development and Application]
The depth of knowledge levels students will experience while preforming these learning task is great. The students will be able to review material they may have
not been able to fully retain. Each student working will be able to learn at their own speed and be provided any assistance she/he may need. Gifted students will
really be able to expand their knowledge as there is freedom when working with interactive gaming. Students will be able to observe and record right where they
are, so they wont forget what they saw. After watching the educational videos the students will be able to perform the topic

Standard 3: Engagement Strategies and Discourse

How will students develop their skills in argumentation, explanation, and critique, using logic/evidence to support or refute a claim or
position?
How will students use multiple representations of concepts in their thinking? (i.e., graphic organizers, visuals, drawings, concept maps,
videos, simulations, data formats)
What opportunities will students have to use their personal experiences and knowledge to connect to the new concepts and skills?

How will students collaborate with each other?

Student will develop their skills in argumentation by being able to record their findings and share with the class.
Students will use drawings the represent concepts in their thinking.
Students will have the opportunity to use their personal experiences and knowledge when creating the very own poems in their language arts section.
Students will be able to collaborate with each other when having a discussion on what plants they find (science section)

How will students reflect on the learning goals, the performance criteria and purpose of the lesson?

How will students share their progress?

How will students be supported in revising their learning strategies based on their progress?

The student will reflect on their learning goals by taking a quiz on the subjects language arts, and math. Students will share their process with the teacher by
showing them their scores and telling them what they need help in and what they feel confident about. Students will have the opportunity the share all their findings
and what they have learning. They will be able to see what could use improvement and what they have mastered.

Standard 5: Assessment Integrated into Instruction

How will student progress be assessed?
How were student pre-assessments or work samples used to plan this lesson?
What evidence of student learning will be generated during the lesson? (i.e., writing, one-to-one conferencing, discussions with peers,
instructional tasks)
How will students receive formative feedback?
How are instructional adjustments made based on student formative assessment results?
What homework will be issued to support the lesson. [Homework]
