1. Summarize the key points you learned from this Professional
Development experience.
Touch Math deals with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Touch
Math is an effective way to teach students how to do basic math. The presentation
demonstrated how touch math works and how to integrate the concepts into the
classroom.

2. Discuss how these key points connect to your content area.


All of these key points connect to my mathematical content area. Even though I am
a secondary math major, I could still use touch math. If I have students struggling
with basic math concepts, I could use these methods to help the students
comprehend the material.

3. Share how you might use this new information in your future classroom.
I could easily use the information I learned about touch math in my future
classroom. For example, If I was teaching long division, I could integrate methods of
touch math to help the students understand the concepts.
