Course Description
This course concentrates on fundamental writing skills development at the sentence and paragraph levels. This course also
emphasizes fluency in the writing process through drafting, revising, and editing in order to produce organized and coherent
writing. Furthermore, this course provides student with composing a variety of writing genres.
Basic Competence
By the end of the course, the students are able to communicate English in the forms of written authentic compositions related
to their field to construct different types of writing genres (letters, descriptive, recount, procedure)
Contents
Writing material is taken from many sources.
Classroom Activities
The classroom activities will emphasize on brainstorming ideas before writing, drafting, giving feedback on student
composition, and editing.

20% for Attendance
40% for Daily Activity + Quiz
20% for Midterm Test
20% for Final Test
