Go on a Field Trip
Its time for a treasure hunt! Find a place outside your house or nearby
where you can sit and be totally quiet. Pretend you are invisible, or that
you are one of the plants or animals. Shhhhhh!

Down among the cobwebs, at the roots of grass,


Green and creepy quiet, dewy beads of glass,
Little spiders spinning, beetles bumbling through . . .

After a few minutes of silent watching and listening, start


making notes. Think about what month it is and look for clues to
the season.
