INTRODUCTION OF NASI LEMAK


Nasi Lemak is a traditional food of Malaysian which really famous as breakfast
among the races in Malaysia. The Nasi Lemak is cooked together with coconut milk and
packed with banana leaf. Then, the Nasi Lemak is served with some anchovies and of
boiled egg.

HOW TO MAKE THE NASI


LEMAK

Ingredient

2 CUPS OF RICE

3 CUPS OF WATER

1 CUPS COCONUT
MILK

6 PANDA LEAVES

CARDAMOM PODS

2 STAR ANISE

1-2 CLOVE

Steps

RINSE THE RICE. Add in 3 cups of


water and soak.
Add in the soaked rice, water and
the ingredient
Cook the rice and when it is
halfway done, open the cooker and
stir well
Once finished, gently fluff the rice

INGREDIENTS

1 CUP DRIED ANCHOVIES


1 RED ONION
1 TBSP TAMARIND PULP
1 CUP CHILI PASTE
1 TSP BELACAN

STEPS

MIX IN TAMARIND JUICE, ONIONS, SALT,


AND SUGAR. FRY UNTIL WELL MIX.

FINALLY, ADD THE ANCHOVIES

HEAT OIL, ADD CHILI PASTE AND


BELACAN. FRY UNTIL FRAGRANT
