    fortheytomakeanydecisionsthatrelatedtotheHolocaust?Iwillillustratefourdifferentcountries,whichare
    America,British,JapanandItaly.Basically,America,BritishandJapanhadsimilarperspectives,whileItaly
    hadmuchmorekindnessforhelpingJewish.
    ThereasonwhyIpickedthistopicisbecauseIwasconcerningwhatsomeWesterncountriesreactisto
    theHolocaust.Asweknowthatmanywesterncountriesadvocatethehumanism.Therefore,Ithoughother
    countrieswouldbehappytohelpwithJewishpeople.However,Italywastheonlycountrytoevacuated4000
    JewishrefugeestotheItalianmainland,andItalianauthorityhelpedJewsescapefromGermany,andJews
    gainedsocialacceptance43.7%ofmarriagesweremixedmarriagewithJews(SavannahO,www.prezi.com).
    However,interestingly,JapanasanAsiancountrysawJewishpeopleasaweakergroup.Thus,Ialsodidsome
    researchesforthat.Atthattime,JapanbegantobelievethatallWesterncountrieswerecorrupt,andrefusedto
    goalongwithNazisplans.IstartedtothinkthatifmajorityofAsiancountriesatthattimewereafraidtobe
    partoftheHolocaust,duetotheydidnotwanttogetanytroubles.ThemostimpressivecountriesthatIdidnot
    knowtoomuchabouttheirbehaviorstotheHolocaustareAmericaandBritish.IwasthinkingAmericaand
    BritishastwokindsofbiggercountriescouldbehelpingJews,buttheydidnot.InDecember1942,US
    PresidentRooseveltandBritishPrimeMinisterChurchillgavetheGermansapublicwarningaboutthe
    responsibilitythatwouldbelaidattheirfeetforthemurderoftheJewsofEurope(www.yadvashem.org).
    Accordingtothetheholocaustexplained.org,aftertheoutbreakofwar,theBritishgovernmentbannedall
    immigrationfromNazioccupiedterritories.Refugeeswhohadpreviouslyarrivedfromcountriesatwarwith

    Tobehonest,Ididhavemanybackgroundswiththistopic.ThatiswhyIwantedtoknowspecifically
    whatothercountriesattitudeswere.
    Forthistopic,Idohavetwoquestions.Firstofall,whatandwhytheothercountriesreactionswere,
    whichIalreadymentionedthemabove.Whatismore,arethesereactionsinfluencetheirtodayssociety.LikeI
    saidbefore,mostofwesterncountriesappealtheHumanisminordertodeveloping.However,theydidnothelp
    Jewsatall.Ihavebeenthinkingthatifthiscouldbeconsideredasnonhumanitarian.
    Twowaysofthinkingaboutmytopicaresingleandwhole.ThesingleIamsayinghereismeaningthe
    whetherthereasonwhytheyrejectedtohelpJewishpeoplewasthepeoplewhorulingthepartydidnotwantto
    losetheirpersonalprofits.Theywouldprefertomaintaintheirpositions.Ontheotherhand,Imeanthewhole
    asasociety.Forexample,ifthesecountrieswerereluctanttohelpwasbecausetheyneededtoprotecttheir
    citizen?Like,theyweretryingtoavoidanywar.
