Masters degree on Rural Dev elopment, Economics, Coastal M anagement, Climate

Change, Env ironmental Management, or Disaster Risk Reduction

Minimum of ten years experience in dev elopment w ork and at least three years experience
in managing sustainable liv elihood projects or similar projects that are implemented w ithin a
consortium.

Has ability to prioritize and manage a complex and v aried w orkload.

Has excellent v erbal and w ritten communication skills

Has excellent ability to manage lead and manage his/her ow n staff

The Consortium Manger w ill lead, organize and dev elop strategic directions for the project to ensure
a synchronized program implementation betw een Plan I nternational and Handicap I nternational. This
role w ill lead in the coordination and netw orking at the national lev el and w ill ensure adherence to
the donor requirements, agreements and standards. This position reports to the Deputy Early Recovery
and Programs Manager.

This is a three-year project that includes inclusiv e and sustainable liv elihood, health, youth training and
employment, and disaster risk reduction programs in the municipalities of Panay and East Samar. The
project is in consortium w ith Handicap I nternational and funded by UK based organization, the Big
Lottery Fund.
