1. Obesity
Oneofthemostcommonhealthproblemsintheworldtoday,Obesity,isdefined
asanabnormalandimmoderateaccumulationoffatthatmayhavenegativeeffectson
health(WHO,2006).Obesityisconsideredasthefifthleadingglobaldeathrisksandis
believedtobethemaincauseofalotofserioushealthproblemsincludingcoronaryand
heartdiseases,diabetes,cancers,liverdiseasesandhypertension.Theseareallreasons
whytheissuehastobetackledwithutmosturgency.

Findingsofrecentstudieshaveidentifiedseveralfactorsthatcancauseobesity.
Amongthesearesociodemographicfactors(i.e.Age,gender,maritalstatusandliving
status), socio economic status (i.e. income), dietary pattern, dietary intake, physical
activity level, smoking status and psychological factors (i.e. depression and anxiety)
(Pouliou&Elliot,2010; Sanigorskietal.,2007;Wang&Beydoun,2007;Zhaoetal.,
2008).

Furthermoreenergydensefoodssuchassometypesofbread,burgers,cheeseand

I believe that the most applicable solution to this problem is adherence to a
healthydietarypattern,whichconsistsofhighamountsofvegetables,fruit,fiberand
reducedfatdairyproducts.Thisisbecauseahighintakeoffoodsdensedinnutrients
suchascereals,vegetables,fruits,dairyproductsandlowfatmeathavebeenfoundtobe

weightovertime(Newbyetal.,2004),goodqualityoflifeanddevelopedsurvivalin
adultpeople(Xuetal.,2011).
In addition, a routine activity is able to decrease incidence of many chronic
disorderslikeobesity.Therefore,aphysicallyactivelifestylehashealthbenefits.Physical
activitychipsinalargerangeofhealthprofitsandroutine.Physicalactivitycanincrease
healthresultsregardlessofwhetherindividualsgetweightloss.
Inconclusion,obesityhasbecomeanepidemicinmanycountries.Theetiologyof
