A Special Anointing For Your Family


"Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have
received, freely give" (Matthew 10:8).

hen you hear the Word of God, it ought to impart faith to your spirit and bring
an anointing for you to function with. You must however realize that the
measure of the anointing that you receive is the measure you can give. You can never
give more than what youve received. If you pour water into a cup, you cant pour more
water out of the cup than what you poured in it. You can only give to the measure that
you received.
When Jesus went to Nazareth, they couldnt receive the anointing. The Bible says, He
marvelled because of their unbelief. Jesus, the Son of God, was there with all the power
of God; He had all authority over hell and the demons, and yet when He ministered to
them in Nazareth, they couldnt receive. The Bible says, only a few people with very light
ailments received the anointing and got healed.
Its what you receive that you can give. If you receive a heavy dose of the anointing,
you can release it to others in the same measure. You can, through the anointing, lay
hands on your loved ones and theyll be blessed.
We can only bless with what weve received. A nation prospers when the individual
families prosper. Therefore, Im asking God to help you receive the anointing with which
to bless your family and minister to your home. That anointing is present even now as
you read. Receive it now in the Name of Jesus. As you receive this anointing, give the
Lord praise, because theres a celebration already going on in the realm of the spirit. And
when the opportunity comes for you to minister to your family, friends and loved ones,
dont shy away from it. Rise to the occasion and the anointing will be released for you to
minister in the power of the Holy Spirit.
