Learning Target: Students will be able to explain how the life cycle of a butterfly works.
Student Role: a television broadcasting crew
Audience: people living in your local area (classmates and teacher)
Format: a short video broadcast
Topic: What are the different stages in the butterfly life cycle?
Directions:
Get into groups of 3
Assign a filmer, car holder, and broadcaster
Go to http://www.kidsbutterfly.org/life-cycle to review information about a butterflies life
cycle
Create a flip book of the different stages of a butterflies life
Type up a description of each stage onto giant notecards for card holder to display to
broadcaster
Locate at least three small clips to incorporate into your broadcast
Edit one minute video together on iMovie
