Professional Development Plan considerations:

The lab needs a permanent computer, projector, and screen to facilitate instruction. The internet speed needs to be increased for
productivity. These items will need to be budgeted and taken care of before school starts.
Accompanying this schedule will be a survey to see who already uses some of these tools and which ones, and who could facilitate
or help with training. Then facilitators will be designated for each session. If almost all staff is familiar with a tool, it will be removed
from the plan and replaced with something else.
Many of the topics will have a DIY option to complete on your own at your convenience some time before the PD session. This can
also give a head start to those who would like to attend the session, but need more time to complete the activity. For those already
familiar with a tool, an alternate activity using the tool will be provided. Proof of training will be passwords embedded in the brief
audio/video/text instruction and a link to finished product, or other specified assessment.
Staff members may request a technology mentor if they are struggling with the activities. Some basic technology screencasts will
also be available for individuals needing additional help.
