Helensburgh Public School Canteen Volunteers (Please rotum to Canteen) Dear Parents We can always use volunteers for our school canteen, ur canteen is always working towards providing a selection of healthy food and drink and a {ew tuckshop goodies for our children at lunchtime, Our canteen follows the guidelines of the NSW Healthy Canteen Strategy. ‘We require two volunteers each day to work the hours of 8,30 am to 12 noon. We are also looking for some people maybe one day per term (Mon or Tues) where you could ‘spend a couple of hours eooking our hot meals in bulk or baking up some treats We also encourage Grandparents to volunteer. tis very rewarding to see how much pleasure that studonts got from having mum or dad, grandma or grandad helping out inthe canteen. No ‘experience is necessary but a smile is always helpful Unfortunately the only rule is NO preschoolers are allowed due to WHS legislation.
