I am enrolled in Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing with an

expected graduation of December 17th 2015. I currently assess and care for
patients as a student nurse in my immersion program at St. Marys emergency
room while simultaneously working as a Patient Care Technician at Memorial
Regional on a cardiac/diabetic critical care step-down unit.
Having previously worked for the companies Enterprise and Cintas
following attainment of a Mass Communications business degree at Virginia
Commonwealth University, I feel I have finally found my calling in life to be a
nurse. Bon Secours has prepared me to be proficient in all the standard nursing
tasks: taking vital signs, starting IVs, administering medications, etc. I am
motivated and eager to learn new tasks and have meaningful interactions with
patients. I communicate and collaborate well with the nurses at Memorial
Regional Medical Center and St. Marys hospital in clinical settings as a Patient
Care Tech and immersion student. I am committed to providing safe and direct
care to patients and their families. I have extensive experience with working
under pressure, taking on leadership roles, and acting with poise and
professionalism in the workplace.
I completed my aforementioned Bachelor of Science degree at Virginia
Commonwealth University in May of 2007 with a superior grade point average,
graduating Cum Laude and Deans List.
Proficient in Connect Care, Word, and Excel I easily acclimate to most
computer software programs. Since I believe in old school values in business
activity, I have always been a very punctual and reliable employee. Im highly
dependable, enthusiastic and professional.
When we have the opportunity to meet, Ill elaborate on my work
experiencewhich seems to complement your needs, and supply you with
strong references. I can be reached at my cell phone (804) 347-5935.
Im looking forward to discussing the position with you or with whom you
direct.
Sincerely,
