A. Ownership Team: Gainesville City Schools owns the store.


Entrepreneurship advisor, Entrepreneurship students and Work-base
learning students. Mrs.Crumley, our advisor had a business degree,
worked in retail and teaches a business/entrepreneurship pathway.
Entrepreneurship student have backgrounds on taking the
Entrepreneurship pathway.
B. Organizational Chart: The duties/responsibilities of the Executive
Officer is to order our inventory, counting the money in the cashbox,
selling items, taking out trash, cleaning the store, and being friendly.
The duties/responsibilities of the General Managers are to sell items,
open up the store, make sure everything is in order, and make sure
everyone is doing their job, clean the store, counting money, and being
friendly and attentive. The duties of the sales associates are to sell
items, be friendly and attentive to the customer and restock shelves.
C. Partners Objectives: the owner wants similar things. Want the
business to succeed and grow. We dont want turn the business into a
franchise. Cut and run doesnt apply.
D. Staffing Requirements: we need 2-3 employees working in each
shift. We need responsible, positive attitude, communicative, and
friendly employees to operate.
E. Owners Compensation: none
F. Other Key Managers: we need a management that knows how to
communicate with others, knows how to manage money , is
responsible, and makes rational decisions.
G. Management Roles and Expertise: The general managers must be
in the entrepreneurship class or completed the entrepreneurship
pathway. Their responsibility is to make sure everyone does their job.
They open up the store every day, make sure everything is in order,
clean the store and count the money in the cash drawer. They have to
be friendly and communicate well.
H. Employee Compensation: None
I. Recruitment: our employees are students that are in the
entrepreneurship class and students who are in the work-base learning
program.
J. Expertise and Training: they have to be in the entrepreneurship
pathway and/or completed the entrepreneurship pathway.
K. Key Staff Management Issues: Our business is under the
entrepreneurship pathway. Students who are taking the
entrepreneurship pathway get assigned to the store. There is no say in

it. They cant leave with our competitors because that is a different
course and because they werent assigned to that area.
L. Compensation schedule: we dont have compensation.
M. Employee Benefits Outline: we dont have benefits.
N. Employee Training program: you must take the entrepreneurship
pathway. Our employees need to know how to handle money and how
to communicate with others.
