Breaking down a stronghold.

2 Thess 2:13,
2THESS 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received
not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2THESS 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2THESS 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in
unrighteousness.
2THESS 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord,
because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and
belief of the truth:
Calvinists will run to 2 Thess 2:13, and see the words
from the beginning chosen and not see the rest of the plain passages in the text.
Because they received NOT the love of the truth. Verse 10
So who are the CHOSEN?
Belief of the Truth, verse 13 is the Word of God.
The SEED remains, 1John 3 9
1JN 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin,
because he is born of God.
Some also twist this verse into an excuse, to say that man must first be born again, before he can obey.
But the SEED, is the Word of God.
That man is required to hide his heart. To LOVE THE TRUTH. The WORDS,
JN 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will
love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
JN 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the
Father's which sent me.
Thats what it means to believe, is to BELIEVE THE TRUTH, that you cannot sin, and not surely die.
Believe His Words.

So who does God then choose?

If one were to do a word search on humble self or selves
We would find that God chooses the HUMBLE
Those who TREMBLE at HIS WORD
In the FEAR OF GOD.
He makes His abode with the humble.
THOSE WHO HUMBLE THEMSELVES.
IS 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the
high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the
humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

ACTS 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where
to repent:
God commands all men EVERYWHERE to REPENT, everyone is called, few are chosen. Why is that?
All were called from the beginning.
JN 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
All are DRAWN.
But God CHOOSES the humble.
In Isaiah 57:15, we see Gods omniscience
Where he is dwelling in two places.
It says God is ONE, and able to dwell both in eternity,
One is in eternity, and there He knows all that is to be.
And His other dwelling place is in the heart of the humble,
Those who humble themselves.
And He is also living it out with us moment by moment,
And changes, according to what man
Where He knows the end from the beginning
And was also able to subject to the realm of time.
Where He is responding to what man does.
And this was expressed in the person of Jesus Christ,
God is dwelling both in eternity and in time,
And chooses those who humble themselves.
Who RECEIVE a love of the truth,
Those who reject truth,
Thats when God chooses for you.
He chooses your delusions.
So the conclusion is that God chooses the humble.
Those who HUMBLE THEMSELVES.
Man has the choice to Fear God, and humble themselves
And obey.
And he rejects those who reject truth.
Jesus Christ is TRUTH.
And then they are given over to delusion.
All men can choose salvation,
But God chooses the delusions of those who rebel.
