Liberal Partys Position on Tax Policy

To sustain a large, healthy economy such as our own, a comprehensive,
effective tax policy is essential. The Conservatives continue to manipulate the
American people by giving grand promises of prosperity through policy that is mere
speculation and guessing. Our tax plan is by no means a new one, but rather old and
reliable policy whose effectiveness has been reaffirmed by economists all over the
world.
In order to lessen the economic inequality that has been pervading his country,
it is essential that the monetary burden not be onerous to the middle class, since they
are the vital contributors to the economy. Our plan is based on research and data., as
a comprehensive tax policy must be. The Progressive Tax Policy has been widely
proven to be a successful raiser of revenue. Let us be clear; regressive tax policies
are not sustainable, nor are idealistic tax policies which wish to lower the tax bracket.
The economic literature leaves no room for ambiguity, in order to sustain our
economy, the progressive tax must continue.
