I am an RN with Bachelors of nursing degree. I graduated in 2005 and have
practiced in medical/surgical, day surgery, and rehabilitation nursing in
different clinical settings and countries, including, the United States and New
Zealand. My background prior to nursing was in Microbiology, and I have a
Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Microbiology. I have also taught
basic sciences and microbiology at college level in the past. I have over
12years of teaching experience spanning various colleges overseas and in
Chicago, Illinois. My objective is to earn an MS or PhD degree in nursing

education and a future career in nursing education.

patients post cardiac surgeries, total knee replacements, hip fractures,
laminectomies and multiple trauma post MVA. Inpatient nursing care of
Stroke patients, Total brain Injury, and craniotomies.

2013- 2014: Registered Nurse,

Health South Rehabilitation Hospital Fort Worth: General nursing care of
medical & surgical patients on admission for rehabilitation. Inpatient Rehab
care of patients post cardiac surgeries, total knee replacements, hip

fractures, laminectomies and multiple trauma post MVA. Inpatient nursing

day surgery unit, providing preoperative and postoperative care for same
day surgical patients. I also provided care on the medical floor to patients
with various medical conditions.

GED examination and for the work force.
