AACO, the regional association of thirty major Arab airlines, is a non-profit organization established within the framework of
the Arab League of States, representing its airline members and working with them to make the best of their combined size to
cut costs when possible, and to exchange expertise to better improve their operational effectiveness.

Held various advancing positions during 15 years of tenure at AACO from IT Specialist to Department Director in
domains related to IT, Services & Facilitation, Distribution, and E-Commerce.
Key Responsibilities at AACO:
Reporting directly to the AACO Secretary General, representing AACO as AACO project manager in joint
projects among the thirty AACO airline members pertaining to: 1) Airline IT Solutions & Distribution Systems
and 2) Passenger Services & Facilitations
Responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of the projects. Specific responsibilities in projects
were research, development, strategy formulation, planning and management of joint projects and task forces
by: liaising between all parties, organizing and leading conferences, drafting technical documents such as EOI,
RFP, developing proposal evaluation criteria, processing technical & financial proposals, providing guidance to
members on all issues related to the project, reporting, arranging field visits and demonstrations, negotiating
and drafting contracts, monitoring and implementation follow-ups ensuring all project activities are completed
within deadline.

AACO Amadeus Distribution Joint Project [2009 & 2011- 2013]


Project Manager of Global Distribution System Agreement between 13 members and
Amadeus (a leading supplier of IT solutions), and Member of AACO Amadeus Steering Board
Relationship with the Global Distribution Systems (GDSs) Task Force (2011-2012)
Project Manager: 15 members reviewed & negotiated with 8+ prominent GDSs & Computer
Reservation Systems (CRSs) organizations, means to foster distribution across all channels.
Amadeus Altea PSS Task Force (2011-2012)
Project Manager: supported the migration of 9+ members into Amadeus Altea Suite
(complete customer service system) & Amadeus e-Commerce Suite

between 16+ members and more than 35 organizations from Airport operators to service
providers

Project manager: looking at possibility of cooperation in all Insurance matters between 8
members and 8+ prominent Insurance Brokers
