Place Value We are continuing to build on and use this knowledge throughout the year when
solving multi-digit problems.
Multi-Digit Addition & Subtraction These skills will continue to be revisited throughout
the year. Knowing when to add and when to subtract when given a word problem
continues to be difficult for many students.
Multiplication The class has just finished learning about factors and multiples. The class
also learned how to multiply multi-digit numbers by 1 and 2 digit numbers. They learned
two ways to multiply numbers. We will continue reviewing multiplication this year.
Division The class learned how to divide multi-digit dividends by 1 digit divisors. They
learned two ways to divide numbers. We will continue to review division this year.

continue to have History Mystery every week to practice research and map reading skills.

scientists use and lab safety, weather/water cycle, and the solar system. We are just beginning
our unit on the human body.
