Tiger P.R.I.D.E (physical education, recreation, inclusion, development and enjoyment)

is an internship created by the Health Exercise and Sport Pedagogy Department in order to
develop the skills of undergraduate students in engaginginimprovingtheirteachingpracticesto
better prepare themselves to become professional educators. As part of the Evaluation Team
(ET) my job helps in aiding my Delivery Team (DT) improve their teaching skills through
producing reflective and analytical evaluations regarding their current lessons. This week Tiger
P.R.I.D.E focused on
Cumulative Experience (Unit 8) . My DT for this unit is Lauren Nakaso
who will be an instructor for Tiger Pride for the next few weeks. This week Lauren instructed
twenty 4th and 5th graders in Cleveland Elementary on November 16th and November 20th.
During this time students learned a variety of skills this week that involved the sport of Frisbee
which included skills such as backhand frisbee toss. In order to learn these skills effectively
students were placed in a activity that gave them an opportunity to practice their skills by

Overall, in viewing the systematic observation and observing Laurens overall instruction

she did very well. Also consistently kept her students active throughout the lesson. Lauren did
very well in giving positive feedback towards her students and giving constructive feedback to
