It is truly an honor to be writing this recommendation for Ms. Markita Williams. I
have known Mariah for a nine years in various capacities; first as her 7th and 9th Grade
ELA teacher then as her advisor of the Zeta Archonette Club. During her tenor as a
student and member, she has been truly an exemplary. Her academic career grade point
average has always been honor roll status varying from 3.2-3.7 throughout her academic
career. She is always ready to give 110% and go the extra mile to succeed at whatever
the task may be. Markita accepts all challenges and sometimes create them for herself yet
tackle them all head on with full force.
As a former Archonette, Markita led her club by example and done it with zeal and
heartfelt love for her club and our organization. She was top ticket seller in various
fundraisers. She served at most community services schedule missing those only that
conflicted with academics. She was voted for the Sisterly Love and Academic awards
given by the club.
Markita would truly be an asset to our illustrious organization. She is very serious,
meticulous and detailed when it comes to her education and her dedication. As Vice
President of the club she inspired and participated with ease. She is definitely a member
that will make any school proud by carrying on the legacy of academic excellence.
Markita is not only self-motivating but she is also a peer motivator. Her eagerness to
learn and zeal for life is contagious amongst her peers. Overall, Markita is extremely
motivated. She will undoubtedly continue to set goals and strive for excellence.
Therefore, I strongly recommend Ms. Markita Williams for a teacher position.
