Introduction:
Discussion on the organization of an essay as well as paragraph
building/transitions.
Developing the Lesson:
1. Students will brainstorm and map out a topic for a short
essay
2. Next, students will organize main ideas and together we will
organize and discuss strategies to transition readers from
one main point to the next.
Closure:
Brief discussion and questions regarding the writing exercise.
Do the students understand how to transition from one paragraph
to another?
