Students may not understand the meaning of extinct exactly from the first
lesson.
1/ First the teacher will let the students Gauss the name of the lesson by (( putting a missy
picture of ( dinosaur ) on the board and choose one students to organize the picture)) then
ask the students what did they see? Do you know this animal? This animal is (extinct) what
it mean ?
EXPLORE: Lesson Description Materials Needed / Probing or Clarifying Questions:
Using students prior knowledge by asking question . 1/ what extinct mean ? 2/ Do you know any
animal that extinct or it will be extinct ?
EXPLAIN: Concepts Explained and Vocabulary Defined:
the teacher will explain the lesson by using the PowerPoint ( explain the meaning of extinct ( no
longer live on the earth) - show some pictures of extinct animal ( dinosaurs, pterosaur, panda ).
The teacher will ask the students if they know this animal thin teacher take up the students answer
and inform them that some of the animals they see in the pictures even though they are alive but
they are in danger of being extinct.
The teacher will show the students a picture of ( Banda ) and inform the students that this animal
will be extinct which mean they no longer live on earth. Inform the students that the Banda soon
will be extinct animal because they hunted for their beautiful fur.

Review the whole lesson by asking question ( the meaning of extinct? Ask Students to
give me name of the extinct animal?

Give the students some paper to creat a dinosaurs and lit them color it.
