Description
Construction foremen/women supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of
construction or extractive workers and coordinate work activities with other construction
project activities. They inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify
safety or to ensure that specifications are met, record information such as personnel,
production, or operational data on specified forms or reports, and analyze worker or
production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods
or implementing motivational plans.
Construction foremen/women may also be involved in the hiring and training of workers.

wear protective gear and safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing
protection, and hard hats.
