1. No students in our class share a birthday. We think this is pretty normal due to the fact that we have a small class size and our
sample size is not very big.
2. The theoretical probability, or probability, P (E), of an event E is the fraction of times we expect E to occur if we repeat the same
experiment over and over. Relative Frequency: The term relative frequency is used for the ratio of the observed frequency of some
outcome and the total frequency of the random experiment. Suppose a random experiment is repeated N times and some outcomes is
observed f times, then the ratio f/N is called the relative frequency of the outcome which has been observed f times. Experimental
probability of an event is the ratio of the number of times the event occurs to the total number of trials. We dont expect the outcome
to change with our class because our birthdays will remain the same so no matter how many times we do the experiment the
outcome will always be the same. If we did different classes or different groups randomly then we would have different outcomes
and we would see the relative frequency better.
