Section Three: Teacher Candidate Artifacts

Introduction
In this section you will view the evidence that proves I have developed the skills and
knowledge needed to be an elementary teacher. The artifacts demonstrate my readiness to be an
educator and are important because they showcase my pedagogical knowledge, dispositions,
technology integration, planning, instruction, assessment, subject matter and professional
development. The artifacts also feature my competency with accommodating students needs,
culturally responsive teaching, and classroom management. The unit and lesson plans included in
the portfolio demonstrate my ability to plan, instruct, and assess learners, as well as
accommodate student needs, culturally responsive teaching, and classroom management. The
Weebly website and Smart Notebook presentation are evidence of my capability to integrate
technology into a learning environment. The annotated bibliography assignment, professional
development certificates, and educational survey demonstrate my research skills and
commitment to advance my professional practice. This section will display my artifacts and
relate them to curriculum and standards.
