    Oursemesterlongprojectisaboutthechangesinmusicovertheyearsincertaingenres.
    ThesegenresincludesCountryandRock.Wewillapproachthisprojectbycreatingsubgenres
    fromthegenrecategorieschosenandexpandinginthesubgenresinordertogetaccurateand
    interestinginformation.Bycreatingsubgenresinourtwogenresofmusic,wewillbeable
    expandourfocusintohowmusichaschangedandinwhatdecadeshasitchangeddramatically.
    Wewillbreakdownouroursubgenresinordertoexplainourcollectedinformationcorrectly.
    OurplanistousePowerPointinordertodisplayourinformationandmakeiteasyto
    readandunderstand.Wewillalsoputinsoundeffectssuchassongexamplesandhavepictures
    intheslidestodescribethechangesinmusicthathaveoccurredandaffectedthemusicworld.
    Thisprojectwillbedesignedsothateverychangeinmusicordecadethattherewaschangewill
    haveitsownslidesothatitiseasytounderstandwhythechangeoccurredandhowithas
    affectedthemusicinthefuture.Wewillgainaccesstomediaassetsbyresearchingourgenresto
    seeifwehaveanyinformationatourhouseoronourphonesthatcouldhelpuswithresearching
    thesongsormusicvideoswewilluse.Thesongswechoosewillbeinfluencedbythechangein
    thatgenresmusicandwillshowifitwasagoodorbadchangeforthatgenreinthoseyears.
    Technologiesthatwillbeusedareiphones,computers,andtvs.Thesetechnologieswillgiveusa

    goodideaofhowthemusichasinfluencedeverythingthathashappenedtomusicandhowthe
    musicwelistentotodayhasbeenaffectedbythesechanges.
    Thisplanforourprojectisappropriateforourtopicofchangesinmusicbecauseitwill
    showthegradualchangesthathaveoccurredandwillexplainwhyeachchangehasoccurred.
    Thesechangesinmusichavenotjustaffectedmusic,theyhasalsoaffectedmanyotherthings
    thatcanberelatedtomusic.Ouraudienceshouldcareaboutourtopicbecauseitaffectsthem
    today.Italsohasaffectedhowwehavebeenraisedandhowithasaffectedourliteracyand
    education.Musicisrelatedtomanythingstodaythathaveorstilldoaffectourlives.Music
    wouldnotbethesamethingitistodayifitwasntforthesechangesthattookplaceyearsago.
    Therolesandresponsibilitiesofthisprojectwillbesplitupbetweenthetwoofus.
    MelissaisgoingtoberesearchingthegenreofCountrymusicandNikiwillberesearchingthe
    genreofRockmusic.Wewilleachresearchourtopicsandgetindepthinformationaboutthem
    andtrytoconnectthemtoeachotherifthatispossibleinanyway.Thesetopicshavechangeda
    lotovertheyears.Willcombineourinformationthatwehaveresearchedtogethertocreatethe
    powerpointaboutchangesinmusicinthegenresofcountryandrock.Whenwecombineour
    information,wewillbeabletoseeifthereareanyconnectionsbetweenthetwooriftheyare
    completeoppositesincomparisontotheirchangesovertheyears.
    WehaveestimatedthatbythemiddletoendofOctober,allofourseparateresearchwill
    bedonesowewillbeabletocombineourinformationtogetherinapowerpointattheendof
    Octobersowewillhavetimetosearchforsongs,etc.,toputinthepowerpointthatsupportsour
    informationaboutthechanges.Combiningourinformationwillnottakeverylongsooncewedo

    ourseparateresearchwecancombineinformationandputthepowerpointtogetherandgetout
    presentationready.
