Materials:
Pictures cards of feeling.
Instructions:
It will be pairs activity, both of them will have the pictures card of feeling .
One of them will choose one picture and say her feeling. For example, she will
choose happy face and say I am happy. her partner will hear her and say the
opposite of I am sad.
They will continue until finishing all pictures.
How it will help both students and teacher?
Students:
Motivate them to learn because it combines fun and learning.
Capacity to distinguish between the feelings.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)


Solve the puzzle.
Materials:
Prepare different puzzles such as happy, sad ,hungry, thirsty, hot and cold puzzles.
Instructions:
Students will solve the puzzles by ordering the number from 1 to 6. This activity
integrates math and English as well.
After solving the puzzle, they will have different pictures ,for example, happy, sad
,hungry, thirsty, hot and cold puzzles.
When they will finish solving the puzzle they will name the pictures and said I
am
I will ask them what is the opposite of happy?. they will say sad.
Independent Experience(small group activity 2)
Show me the cards.
Materials:
Pictures cards of feeling.
Instructions:
It will be pairs activity, one of them will say the sentences such as, I am happy,
and her partner will show her the correct picture and say it.
They will continue working until finishing all pictures.

Independent Experience(small group activity 3)


Listen and draw
Materials:
Pictures card of feeling and papers to draw.
Instructions:
It will be pairs activity, one of them will choose the pictures cards for example,
she will choose happy face and said I am happy, her partner will draw it and say
Im happy
They will continue working until finishing all pictures.

Closing
Make a short review by asking students to name the picture cards again and said I
am..
Show them the cards and said the opposite. For instance, I will say I am happy,
then they will say I am sad.
Choose pairs to do that.
Give them a piece of paper to draw their feelings.
Assessment
While students doing the activity I will walk around to observe their pronunciations of the words
.In addition I will ask them Oral question, such as, how do you feel? They will say I am
happy. Moreover, I will provide appropriate feedbacks for them and improve their learning.
Reflection:
what went well:
Students were engaged and motivated so, I achieved my learning outcomes.
Monitor students by walking around while teaching. Moreover, I used eye contact. Also, I
gave each student a card and when they heard the words they will stand up and say it.
This activity keep students engaged, focus and listen carefully to me.
The song and the story support students to identify the words.
Students were paying attention because I keep praising the quite students and who
listen to me.

Even better if:


Manage the time because the bell rang and I didnt do the closing activity.
Evaluate and assess the students by asking each students oral question. Moreover, write notes about each
students.
Choose a leader for the group to help me to give out the resources , save time. Moreover, students will love that
and it will build their self-esteem and responsibilities.
