real-life events

mathematical equations that describe these

Using mathematical equations to predict what
would happen in a similar event
Learning communication, data analysis, and error
detection skills

Engaging students with a variety of
methods of instruction as well as studentled discussions.

The ultimate goal is for students to learn that
math is more than just numbers, and to gain
confidence in their ability to do hard things.
